This image's diverse array of effects and colour help this image to stand out as not only a truly unique image, but also an outstanding one too. The fact that this image uses a template gets minus points for being original, but what you have done with that is truly amazing.
The direct contrast between fire and water help to break the mould of 'one character, one element' and this helps your artwork to stand out. The fact that you have the fire and the water coming together in one smooth transition is a truly outstanding effect which I have never come across before. The addition of leaves of varying colour implants the idea that although this is supernatural, this is all a part of this universe's nature.
The shading is great however, the fire coming form her hand does not make a larger glow, which I would expect from a traditional fire source. Also, the eyes could have made a larger impact by increasing the amount of glow that comes off of them, or adding a visual effect onto them in order to bring them into the limelight.
Overall, The image is well rounded, bringing light to the whole picture but, some areas look not as bright as they should be. You spent a lot of time on this and you should be very proud of yourself. I congratulate you.
Funny coincidence how this is the second of it's kind I've seen today but from a different artist (is this Avatar day or something ) Anyway since I don't watch the actual show I guess I can have an un-biased opinion to share.
Mostly regarding the fire though. The "real" flames look really cool, and that's a strange, fluid effect that can be hard to paint. But I would have attempted it anyway since having one photo-based element in the artwork looks a bit out of place when everything else looks painted from scratch. Maybe even a simple paint-over the fire or a soft glow around it would help it blend in better
The chalk-brush effect looks pretty good though. Never really seen anyone do that. It does match the dynamic and energetic theme going on here
